We’re thrilled to present Mujeres De Café (Spanish for "women of coffee"), a coffee that not only delivers outstanding flavor but also supports a vital cause. Throughout March, 20% of every bag sold will be donated to Grounds For Health, an organization that has been providing life-saving women’s health programs in coffee-growing communities since 1996.

Mujeres De Café is a remarkable coffee from Lucia Ortiz’s Finca Las Mercedes in El Salvador. A dedicated producer, Lucia’s passion for her community and commitment to coffee excellence inspire us every day. This unique blend features Orange Bourbon, Icatu, and SL28 varietals, processed three ways—anaerobic, honey, and washed—to create a cup rich with flavors of molasses, cherry, and Gala apple. But this is more than just great coffee—it’s about honoring the Ortiz family’s deep-rooted dedication to community and sustainability.

Beyond great coffee, we cherish the Ortiz family’s dedication to community and sustainability. Lucia Ortiz’s Finca Las Mercedes farm in El Salvador is a long-time partner and collaborator with Klatch Coffee. At the heart of this initiative is Lucia Ortiz, a cherished direct trade partner and close friend of the Klatch Coffee family. As the head producer of Finca Las Mercedes in El Salvador, Lucia has not only helped craft this exquisite blend but has also transformed lives in her community.

Through her healthcare initiative, Dispensario Los Ortiz, Lucia and her family have provided clean drinking water, education, and medical care since 1979. Even through political unrest, their dedication never wavered. Thanks to partnerships with Glasswing and USAID, the clinic officially opened in December 2019, offering:
