Description

The world’s oldest and most well-known blend. A richly balanced, earthy cup, with a flavor profile of brandy-toned chocolate, nutty almond, and hints of blueberry top notes.

Our version of the ancient Mocha-Java blend combines a genuine Java from the government estates of East Java with two different Ethiopia "natural" or dried-in-the-fruit coffees, both of which represent variations of the original Yemen Mocha component of the blend: one from the Harrar region of Ethiopia and a second from the Amaro region of southwestern Ethiopia.

Ken Davids of Coffee Review in his 91 POINTS - January 2010 assessment describes our Mocha Java as: 

"Intense aroma: brandy fermented fruit, sweet-toned flowers, and aromatic wood. In the cup richly balanced; delicate fruit and floral top notes with deeper hints of earth, brandy-toned chocolate, and aromatic wood. These deeper tones carry into a mildly but distinctly astringent finish."

All time favorite!

The Mocha Java blend is dark enough to stand up to the milk in the latte, but light enough to get notes of blueberry. It makes for a very smooth and creamy latte.

I think we've tried over half of the different blends and several of the single origin coffees from Klatch, and at the end of the day, we simply keep coming back to the Mocha Java blend. I haven't had a coffee from Klatch that I HAVEN'T liked, but Mocha Java is by far our favorite. Smooth, Chocolaty and a little fruity all at the same time.

Delicious and addictive

Same sentiments as the first reviewer! I've only tried three varieties from Klatch, but Mocha Java was perfect as far as I am concerned. Rich, flavorful, and addictive.

mocha Java Coffee

Mocha Java coffee is among our favorite Klatch coffees. It tastes fabulous- not to strong but just strong enough. I buy a pack with every order!

Delicious and addictive

5 star coffee, but can't afford the shipping charges...I put in an order to receive mocha java every two weeks, and thought I was creating a subscription and would not need to pay shipping charges...I was mistaken, and was indeed charged for shipping. So I cancelled the planned every two week purchase. Just not worth 6 buck a pop!! BUT, love the brew!

Mocha Java Blend is a delicious coffee for any brew method. I previously really enjoyed their WBC blend, but I really enjoy Mocha Java the most.
