Mocha Java Blend

Soft and sweet.

Absolutely delightful! When I first started grinding my own beans 45 years ago mocha Java was one of my favorites. I rediscovered this blend with Klatch and I’m thrilled. Can’t wait to try other blends.

This coffee blend is fantastic. It’s the ideal coffee to wake you up in the morning. It has a great flavor, low acid, and is smooth.

but a little acidic black. Aero press, 90° C water. I would probably prefer a medium dark roast.ore than drinkable but won't replace my Crazy Goat.

I love this coffee. I have been ordering/picking up this coffee for the last 3 or 4 years and have no complaints. When I first started getting it shipped, my mailman brought it to my door to ask me about it because he could smell it through the shipping package.

Some of the best bags I’ve had from Klatch are mocha java blends. Recently (Jan 2025) they’ve been pretty bad and I won’t order more for a while, but in the past they’ve been blueberry stunners.

This most recent roast was over roasted or the blend is off. Chocolate and bitter, no fruit, no sweetness. Using a high quality grinder it’s still bitter and anstringent until it’s so coarse it’s a sour bomb. The reset of this large bag is getting donated to season some burrs.

I really hope a new batch will improve it but I’ll wait till summer 2025 to risk it again.

A very approachable and consistently roasted blend. Truly tastes of chocolate and berries.
