The Abu Coffee brand honors the memory of José Guillermo Luttrell Tedman, a visionary devoted to crafting the finest Geisha coffee with unmatched quality. Named after the affectionate nickname "Abu" (short for "abuelo," grandfather in Spanish) given by his grandchildren, the brand embodies his passion for Boquete and specialty coffee—a legacy the family strives to preserve for future generations.

Abu Coffee's's journey began with its first entry in the 2017 Best of Panama competition, where its Geisha Washed Reserva Luttrell earned sixth place. In 2018, Abu Coffee competed again, securing 12th place with its Geisha Natural and 15th with its Geisha Washed. This marks the continuation of a dream to deliver excellence in every cup.
