"Best Espresso in the World"

World Barista Championship, Japan 2007

Description

Named Best Espresso in the world at the World Barista Championship, Japan 2007.

Initial notes of sweet dark chocolate and orange citrus later give way to a syrupy-sweet taste of wine-like berry and spice.

This competition espresso won the honor as over 45 countries competed for the WBC title. World’s Best features three legendary beans—Brazil Yellow Bourbon, Sumatra Lake Tawar, and Ethiopian Natural. Each is roasted separately using our signature peak of flavor method, then expertly blended together.

Worst Batch of WBC + 2 other Blends in years. Very Sour and difficult to drink. Temple Beans in S...

My grind was perfect. Temperature between 195>205. Weight at 20g and experimented with 20.5 and .5 increments up to 22g and nothing helped. Draw was between 25-30 seconds and plenty of creme but all three blends from Klatch are sour. Been buying since 2018 and likely will not buy again. Horrible waste of money.

Very nice!

I was looking for a traditional espresso and was really happy with the WBC. It was easy to dial in. I used 18g at 201 degrees and pre-infused for 15 seconds and then pulled the rest at 10 bar. The texture was amazing. I just noticed your extraction notes as I was ordering another bag. Will try that next time.

Rich, chocolatey, and delicious

This was exactly as advertised, a perfect traditional Italian style espresso that pairs well with milk or on its own. This is my new go to for milk-based drinks.

Classic

Rich, smooth and comforting. A round, well balanced cup.
