Balances beautifully with milk based drinks

Creamy body with a sweet finish

Description

Belle Espresso is one of our favorites in our coffee houses because it balances beautifully with milk-based drinks. With notes of blackberry, chocolate, and brandy, this decadent espresso has a creamy body and a sweet finish. The top notes layer with hints of orange citrus and spice.

Ken Davids of Coffee Review in his 94 POINTS - May 2006 assessment describes our Belle as:

"Intense aroma: brandy, chocolate, caramel. In the small cup medium in body but smooth in mouthfeel, crisply pungent yet caramelly sweet, with a tightly knit, understated complexity: brandy, caramel, cedar and flowers, hints of which persist in the roundly rich finish. Masters milk with a gentle, brandied chocolate authority."

With a winning 94/100 pts, Belle is our highest-rated espresso blend. After trying 40 espressos & rating over 30 espresso blends, Ken Davids of Coffee Review placed Belle on top.

My favorite!

Double cappucino every morning and Belle is what makes it delicious! I get the most out of my Belle with a very consistent grind out of my E37S. Love the complex fruit and cocoa notes. As an everyday bean I absolutely recommend!

Belle Expresso

The 1st order of Belle Express was outstanding. The Berry and Chocolate notes along with am smooth taste was wonderful.

The second bag however was disappointing. Flavors were muted and nowhere near the 1st bag.

Makes me wonder if Klatch is going to be consistent in their products?

The finest, most consistent espresso roast

I have now purchased Belle Espresso at least 6 times, meaning 6 different roasts over several months (small household). It has been consistent every time, never burnt or over roasted, and exquisitely perfect. Dark chocolate, berries, and deliciously aromatic.

Dana, we are delighted to hear that you're enjoying Belle Espresso.

It’s really good, but not what I was expecting.

I’ve been using Lavazza in my super automatic for a few months now and I decided recently to upgrade my espresso to try some freshly roasted beans to give myself a little treat each morning in the form of great macchiatos. While I enjoyed Belle Espresso I don’t think it lived up to the hype I placed on it. It did perfectly fine in my iced oatmilk lattes, but it wasn’t worth the price difference in my opinion. Lavazza from Amazon is 3X less per ounce versus Belle Espresso from Klatch, but Belle wasn’t three times better than my normal cup. There’s probably a happier medium for me to strike in regards to quality of beans, freshness and price.

Perfect

We made Belle Espresso our goto beans when we moved LA in 2013 and have never looked back. It’s terrific as a long black, as a flat white or latte or over ice with a little half and half.

The Belle of the espresso ball!

I keep trying others, this roaster & that roaster. While many are good day in and day out NOTHING beats Belle Espresso....I know I will continue to try others...as a coffee nut I can't not. But deep down I know nothing else will compare.

Favorite beans

Nice subtle aromatic flavor - not too overpowering. Perfect as two shots with some whole milk. When we have guests over and we make them coffee they always love it with these beans. Belle is a real crowd pleaser since it has such a smooth and pleasant flavor.
